This page is where any Igbo Wikipedia user who wants to be an administrator should put their name. If you want to apply you should know the rules and the guidelines (read it!). You can also nominate someone else to be an admin (the person nominated should agree beforehand). Other users should then vote on whether or not they agree for the nominee to become an admin. If he or she receives the supporting vote then he or she should then put their name in the m:Requests for Permissions page so that other higher admins (called stewards) can know and make them an administrator.

- I am an admin on both English Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia. I have been watching this wiki for awhile and notice that vandalism and inappropriate pages end up staying here too long due to not having an active administrator. A: My best contributions to wikipedia are probably my participation in the ice hockey project on English Wikipedia. I would also say my admin work on English and Simple English Wikipedia also rate as some of my most important work.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: I rarely have encountered anything that I would consider a conflict. Usually more just heated debate, and in which case I usually just trying to rationally lay down my opinion on the appropriate talk page and keep an open mind about the other persons opinion and see if we can't come to either a compromise or some sort of agreement on which opinion is the one we should go with.

- I am an active member of the Igbo Wikimedia User Group and one of my most contributed project includes Igbo Wikipedia. Over the years through trainings, I have understood how Igbo Wikipedia works and solved some challenging puzzles with assistance in IG Wikipedia when I organize contest in fan clubs. I love research and learning new things which I believe is necessary for this role

1A: Address concerns of users contributions as it concerns successful creation of account, accurate usage of tools, maintaining quality contents, remove and modify pages, and acting as a check against vandalism.

2A: Since I joined the community in 2021, I have translated articles in different fields and my motivation has always been to put our my native language, Igbo, to the world so that the world can benefit from open knowledge

3A: So far, I have not personally encountered any conflict while editing. Meanwhile as a trainer, newbie contributors, being their first time does edits that will be screaming "Delete me" but knowing that everyone was once a beginner even I, I patiently look into their edits and make corrections. A: To regulate the inflow and outflow of information on the Igbo Wikipedia. To support in resolving any technical challenges that users of this project might experience in their cause of consumption or contribution to the Igbo Wikipedia. And to help incorporate standardised Igbo words/terms (which are called IGBO IZUGBE) on the Igbo Wikipedia interface.

A: As a freelance Igbo language translator, one of my best contributions is using my skills to contribute to the Wikipedia project at no cost - Translating articles on the Igbo Wikipedia.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: Yes, I once vandalised the Igbo WikiQuote interface - during my early days as a Newbie Wikimedian. Thanks to individuals and experienced Wikimedians in my community, I was immediately called to order with an immediate one-on-one tutorial and training on the best practices of contributing and editing across the Wikimedia projects. As an Igbo Wikipedia Admin, I want to be able to resolve this kind of situation (which usually occurs among newbies and might even get them blocked and demotivated) which I believe would be beneficial to newbies and also to the Igbo Wikipedia.

A: My best contributions include article creation and translations in Igbo, improving and organizing categories, and leading projects like cleanup tasks. These contributions matter because they encourage language preservation and help to make the Igbo Wikipedia more structured and accessible.

A: I have not been involved in editing conflicts on Wikipedia. I always try to assume good faith and follow community guidelines. In the future, I'd listen more, seek consensus, and involve other admins if needed.
